Ruthie Dabah, LCSW

With close to a decade in the social work field, I gained the bulk of my clinical experience at The Jewish Board working with individuals facing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder, attachment trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, and survivors of physical and sexual abuse. During my time at The Jewish Board, I also had the privilege of facilitating group therapy for teens struggling with socialization and relationship-building.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, TF-CBT, and CBT-E. Additionally, I completed a 20-hour experiential intro course in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and have received specialized training in Enhanced CBT for eating disorders at Oxford, where CBT-E is recognized as the "gold standard" in treatment.

I create a compassionate and supportive environment where you can feel truly heard and understood. My approach is empathetic and collaborative, allowing us to work together at a pace that feels right for you. We’ll explore what’s not working in your life, identify the changes you want to make and develop a plan to make those changes a reality.
